Interesting Springfield Trapdoor Carbine in .45/70. Appears to be an 1884 Model
arsenal modified to carbine with 22" barrel. Stock has ramrod hole properly
plugged with walnut. Buffington rear sight, wrong front sight. Very good or
better condition with a fine sound stock. Mechanically excellent with bright,
shiny perfect bore. Would be great for a reenactor or with the fine bore, would
make an excellent shooter. Serial number indicates 1890 manufacture.

The Fine Print:
1. All guns are sold as collector's items only, with no guarantee of shooting
condition. Have any gun checked by a qualified gunsmith before shooting.
Collector guns are often full of old, dried grease, and will not function
unless properly cleaned and lubricated. Use common sense. Shooting a gun with
grease in the bore can destroy the gun.
2. Orders must be paid in advance. We do not ship C.O.D. We accept MasterCard,
Visa and American Express, but prefer a guaranteed form of payment (cashier's
check, money order, etc.).
3. Personal & business checks are accepted and must clear (about 3 weeks)
before we ship your order. No refunds until your check has
cleared. 4. Exports: We are unable to export modern firearms directly, but
will ship to a licensed export agent - in the United States. Books and Antiques
may be exported directly. However, since customs clearance or administrative
procedures in other countries are beyond my control, once I ship the goods, all
export sales are final. No refunds on exports. 5. Returns: Customary 3
(business) day return privilege if returned in the exact same condition as
shipped. Please visit my website for details of Terms of Sale. No refund
if parts are lost, or if it has been fired, damaged, or altered in any way.
If you lose parts, change parts, damage, alter, or shoot it, you own it.
